Permanent jewelry offers a polished, signature style that is totally effortless; no more worries about losing or misplacing your jewelry, frustration with a clasp, or an uncomfortable fit. Plus, it’s a great way to celebrate a milestone for yourself or make a memory with someone {or a whole lot of someones} special to you.
Unlike that spontaneous tattoo you may regret, permanent jewelry is only as permanent as you would like it to be. Whenever you are ready to part ways, it’s easy to remove yourself.
One of our specially trained welders will help you select a chain and find the fit that you are most comfortable with, then weld the 2 ends together on your wrist. Don’t worry! It’s a painless process.
Nope— our chains do not need to be taken off to go through security. {They really are the perfect travel companion.}
Because many medical procedures require you to remove all jewelry, we recommend holding off until afterward if this applies to you. Trust us— it’s worth the wait!!
Because we want to ensure the integrity of your bracelet and customize your fit, we will have you select a brand new chain when you arrive. We are happy to add a charm to existing jewelry!
We are happy to put permanent jewelry on all ages. Any minors who are getting permanent jewelry will need to be accompanied by an adult.
Please note that for safety, your child will need to be able to hold still while the jewelry is being welded and tolerate wearing protective eyewear.
Each appointment slot can accommodate up to 1 person. If you have a larger group, we’d love to assist you! Please email us at Live-In@madebymary.com to schedule.
A deposit of $15 is required at the time of booking to reserve your appointment. Your deposit is non-refundable and will be credited to your final receipt. We have it set up this way to ensure that customers who make appointments intend to keep them! Our welder’s time is, well, gold.
You can cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before your scheduled time.

*If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, we can’t guarantee that we will have enough time to fit and weld your permanent jewelry. You may need to book a new appointment.

Take a look at the selection of chains ahead of time so you have an idea of which one you prefer. If you aren’t sure, we can help! We also recommend that you think about the fit you like best, so that the welder can customize your ideal size.
Our studio is located just off I-15 exit 288 in Bluffdale, Utah. Once you book your appointment, we will send you specific directions on how to get there and where to park.
The welder will take into consideration your preferred fit and will help you find the size that feels best for you, ensuring it isn’t too tight or too loose.

We have a team of welders who have each been specially trained in the art of permanent jewelry. You’re in great hands.
Not at all! The process is fast and completely painless. There is a spark of light and a zapping sound as the chain is welded together, but you won’t feel a thing.
Once you’ve selected a chain and found your fit, the actual welding takes only a few seconds.
No- think of this as a long-term relationship. Once your jewelry has been welded, it’s yours for as long as the romance lives. So be sure you love it before committing!
We hoped you’d ask- yes! While you’re here for your appointment, we will have some of our most popular ready-made jewelry available for you to purchase, including the Live In Hoops and Studs to round out your easy breezy jewelry collection.
We recommend gently washing your permanent jewelry regularly with mild soap and water, especially after swimming or sweating. Be sure to rinse it well and gently pat dry. You can use the polishing cloth you receive at your appointment to maintain that lustrous glow.
Live In Permanent Jewelry is made to do just that— be lived in. So while we don’t recommend exposing it to harsh chemicals, your jewelry is made to go on all your adventures.
No worries! Your permanent jewelry can be re-welded at no charge within the first 60 days. Just email us at Live-In@madebymary.com to schedule a time. After 60 days, you can have your permanent jewelry re-welded for $15 by booking a new appointment.
Easy peasy. Use wire cutters or the cutting edge of needle-nose pliers to very carefully snip the welded link (if you don’t cut at the welded link we will not be able to re-weld your chain again later). Hang on to your bracelet and store it in a cool, dry place.
Sure! You will have the option to add a charm at your initial appointment, or if you decide to add one later, just book a new appointment here. (The $15 fee will be applied to your add-on.)
