Please note that these earrings are for healed piercings and cannot be used for initial piercing.
How To Wear Flat Back Earrings
- Unscrew the earring top from the post by turning counter-clockwise.
- Insert the post from the back of your piercing to the front, until the flat back is resting comfortably against the back of your ear.(This may take a little extra care because the post is slightly thicker than the standard post.)
- Align the earring top with the open front of the post and turn clockwise to tighten, using your other hand to hold the back in place.
- Sleep, swim, sweat, and see the world with comfortable 24/7 wear.
- We recommend checking occasionally to ensure the earring tops are still screwed on securely.

When I first received these, I almost returned them because I wasn’t sure I could insert them without loosing one of them. They are very tiny. After having for a week, I decided to give it a try. Not the kind of thing you do in a hurry, at least not for me. I have not taken them out since I got them. I have 3 piercings and wear them in top hole. I check daily to make sure they are tight. I know lots of people would have no issue with the tiny earring. I am 71 years and totally blind. I think this is not a process to do with sight, just the feel of it engaging in your hand when inserting the earring. Just make sure it is lined up correctly and tight and you will enjoy them. Thinking of getting another of this type to wear along with this one. One of those little insertion tools might be helpful for getting the post in from the back, but I didn’t have one. Enjoy all jewelry from this shop.

Super unfortunate that my left earring has fallen out twice now and been lost. The first time I️ thought it was me but I️ bought a replacement which was very expensive. The replacement fell out and got lost as well within just 2 days of wear. I️ know I️ screwed them in tight and I don’t mess with them. So now I’m out $300 because of 2 lost earrings and 1 single earring I️ can’t wear by itself.
