Find Your Perfect Fit

Your go-to guide for measuring rings, bracelets, and necklaces—because the perfect fit makes all the difference.

Necklaces

Measuring for Length

Most Made by Mary necklaces include a 1.5"–2" adjustable chain extender, giving you the flexibility to style your piece just the way you like. You can find specific length details in the 'Details' dropdown on each product page.

To determine your desired length, choose where you want the disc or chain to sit on your chest. Take a string and wrap it around your neck—holding it at the desired length. Then, take the string and measure it with a ruler or tape measure.

When measuring for a choker, we recommend rounding up if your neck measurement is close to a whole number. For example, if your neck measures 13.75”, the 14” or next size up will be your best fit. Love a looser choker style? Go up one more size! A 13.75” measurement would pair best with a 15”-16” length for a more relaxed feel.

Disc Sizes

Our variety of disc sizes are perfect for customizing and pairing together! We love 1/2" discs for initials, and 3/4" discs for long words, phrases and dates.

Pro Tip
Our favorite place for a disc necklace to lay are just below the collar bone, halfway down the neckline, and below the neckline.

Layering

Dainty chokers paired with a disc necklace is just one of our favorite ways to layer!

Pro Tip: We recommend a 1"-3" difference between each layered piece.

Bracelets

Measuring For Your Bracelet

  1. Take a measuring tape and measure your wrist where you normally wear a bracelet.
  2. Add an appropriate length to the bracelet for a best fit. Please note lengths below.

Pro Tip

  • For a "Tight" fit: Add 1/4" to 1/2" to your wrist size
  • For a "Just Right" fit: Add 3/4" to 1"
  • For a "Relaxed" fit: Add 1 1/4"

Note: If you are buying a bracelet for someone else and don't know wrist size, we recommend you use the charts below for a rough guideline. You can also size down and order a Chain Extender so the recipient can resize to their liking. The most common sizes are 6" or 7".
