Beautiful ring. Questionable quality.
This ring is stunning and unique! I spotted it on the finger of a woman streaming a live sale for a local boutique and fell in love. I reached out to ask her where she found the ring and was disappointed to discover it was out of stock. As soon as the ring became available, I purchased one and was not disappointed when it arrived…beautiful! I reserved this coveted item for special occasions and wore it to the theater last week. Sadly, on my drive to the performance, I discovered that one of the pearls was missing. I contacted customer service and asked to purchase a replacement pearl and/or repair. As I am outside the 60 day warranty window for manufacturing defects, I have been advised that the MBM team “is unable to repair the existing break” and “a new piece would need to be purchased in order to replace your broken one.” Although this was just the third time I had worn this ring, I was told that a manufacturing defect “usually becomes apparent within the first 60 days of use. After that, any breaks or issues are more likely to be caused by user error, such as wearing the jewelry while showering, swimming, sleeping, children pulling on it, etc.” I can guarantee this was not a case of “user error.” Unless you will be satisfied admiring this ring in your jewelry box rather than on your finger, I would suggest a hard pass.
